Andrew Pierce met Ashley Hudson at the church they were a part of in Hamburg. They realized at the time that they were a match made in heaven. Ashley Hudson was 17 years old and hadn't had a girlfriend previously, so they took the time to get acquainted. However, it was true the first time they met. Andrew asked God at New Year's Day, just prior to the start of 2016. He demanded God for one final blessing for the year to see Ashley decide to marry him and that she would be married. Ashley was looking for the wedding with a rustic, folk theme to represent her and Andrew. Andrew and Ashley incorporated their most loved things for the wedding. The venue chosen was on the back 40 acres of land Ashley grew up on. Ashley was familiar with the entire area having walked through it and had a game in the area. Andrew and Ashley have also visited several times since they began dating. The importance of personalization was that almost everything involved DIY from the groom and bride. Andrew's father and Ashley and Ashley made both the ceremony arch and the seating arch. Ashley made and painted many of the wedding decorations. Ashley claims that we might never have the amazing wedding I had imagined if it wasn't for Anna's floral designs. Absolutely stunning.
